78 Years of Love Couple’s Secret to Lasting Marriage

A Columbus couple is celebrating an extraordinary milestone — 78 years of marriage.

Thomas and Ernestine Price were married Sept. 10, 1947, on the front porch of her home after years of courting.

“Right now, there’s no special favorites to do. We’re just here and try to be safe and take care of ourselves,” Ernestine said.

After nearly eight decades of marriage, the Prices say they would do it all over again.
